Dejavu.

esegrouchmaniac:

(Takes place in the on a roof AU. Sokka and Azula find eachother in a serious problem. )

“Dejavu!”

“What!?” Azula exclaimed as she turned her head to look at the man running beside her.

“Dejavu! You know, that feeling you get when you feel like you’ve been in a-” Sokka began explaining, but was quickly cut off.

“Yes, I know what Dejavu means dummy! I’m asking what that has to do with our current situation? Head down!” Both Azula and Sokka ducked without stopping their running as a car came flying overhead crashing into the wall of a nearby building.

Without missing a beat Sokka answered. “I mean I’ve been in this situation before!” Azula gave him a look of obvious disbelief. “I’m serious, back when your brother and me first teamed up against the Centinals, we went through something similar to this only with the Avatar and Toph trying to kill me!”

“Why am I not surprised! ” Was Azula’s answer as they both made a sharp turn through an ally, jumping an impeding wall that led to a main street in the city. Pausing to catch their breath, Azula continued. “Ok, so what do your ‘extravagant’ experiences have to do with our current situation? ”

“Well, the situation was all to similar. You see the Avatar and Toph were being mind controlled just like our rampaging friend over there.” As if on cue, a raging roar erupted from behind the buildings they came from.

“Ok, and?”

“Well, back then. In order to snap the OP fuckers out of the Centinals control. All we had to do was either give them a strong enough hit to the head to cut the connection, which won’t work for us. Or we could use a massive amount of electricity to fry the connection, which is where you come in.”

Azula proceeded everything she was being told then nodded, looking up to Sokka she asked. “You think that will really work?”

“Azula, it’s Pipsquek for fucks sake, you tell me.”

Both Sokka and Azula jumped out the way when they heard a roar from above them, when they looked up they watched as a hulking figure came crashing down onto the street. Looking up to see the figure they were met with the sight of their hulking, and snarling team mate. Pipsquek gave another raging roar causing Azula and Sokka to hop right up to their feet.

“What now?!” Azula asked, readying herself for a fight.

“I’ll distract him, you try and get in a good shot and unload everything you got!” Azula nodded, and without another word both leaped into action.

Azula ducked and leaped out of the way of Pipsquek’s punches, but just barely. Sokka reached for his boomerangs, a hurled them straight for the head. The boomerangs bounced off of the brute as if mere annoyances. It was enough as Pipsquek Snapped his snarling face to glare at Sokka.

Sokka’s face dropped. “Ah shit.” Sokka leaped out of the way as Pipsquek sent his fist crashing down trying to crush Sokka. Sokka rolled to his feet, and gained momentum by running circles around Pipsquek as the giant kept trying and failing to crush the mercinary.

In the shadows, Azula unseathed her batons and using her meta abilities, had electricity surge through them. When she felt the time was right, she would act. From where she stood she could easily reach the brutes head.

While this went on, Sokka continued to run circles around Pipsquek as the brute became more in raged by the minute. Jumping over an incoming fist, Sokka laughed. “Ha-ha, you ain’t never gonna catch me! You stupid sack of- SHIT!” Sokka was sent flying then crashing into the side of a dump truck by a back fist from Pipsquek. The brute smirked as he grabbed a weezing Sokka by his legs and proceeded to toss him around like a rag doll. All while Sokka exclaimed curses as he impacted anything and everything.

Azula watched in horror, and knew she needed to act. Thinking of something quick, she seathed her batons and came out of the shadows. “Hey! Shit head!” She exclaimed. She received no answer. “Alright ‘mother fucker’! Let’s see how you like this.” She growled, as she made body motions that resulted with her hands surging with electricity. She thrust her hands forward resulting in a blue bolt of lighting sent straight into Pipsquek’s back. He howled in both pain and rage when he felt the lighting flow through him. He quickly snapped his head in Azula’s direction and roared. “Ah shit.” Was all Azula could say as she turned to run, the surprised cries of Sokka being thrown aside resignated behind her as Pipsquek came charging forward.

Using her momentum, Azula ran up a wall and pushed herself into a back flip resulting in Pipsquek crashing into the building. Landing with ease on her feet, Azula looked up but was met with an agonizing pain as Pipsquek had back handed her when came of the wall.

Azula landed with a painful thud on the ground which turned into hops them came to a rolling stop. Azula tried her best to control the pain and her breathing, which became even more difficult when she saw how Pipsquek slowly made his way to her. Her eyes went wide with fear as he lifted his two fists in order to strike her down. Then suddenly he gave a howl of pain as he arched his back. From behind him Sokka leaped into view, space sword in his left hand covered in blood, while he used his right metal one to punch Pipsquek right in between the eyes.

Pipsquek was stunned and stumbled onto his back. Sokka came crashing down onto the floor beside Azula, a groan of pain escaping his lips. “That’s not pleasant.” The tried to comment. “Yeah… it really isn’t.” Was all Azula could reply with.

Sokka turned to look at Pipsquek who wa already getting back to his feet. “You ready for round two?” He asked as he got to his feet. “Yeah… are you?” Azula asked as she tried to get to her feet. “No, not really.” Sokka groaned as he came running at Pipsquek, space sword in hand. He sliced at the brutes legs and arms trying to weaken him. But all that did was make him angry.

This continued for a while before Sokka stumbled and was caught in Pipsquek’s hands. He cursed as he was sent crashing down and was repeatedly pummeled by raining fists. Right when it seemed Pipsquek was about to finish Sokka off, Azula leaped onto his head. Locking her legs around his neck, she released her batons surging with electricity, she put them to his temples and let loose. Pipsquek released Sokka and howled in agony as streams of electricity ran through his head. Azula lost her grip around his neck, her energy being quickly depleted due the amount of power she was using. Pipsquek reached back and grabbed her and sent crashing down. Luckily, Sokka caught her just in time. “That was hot.” He stated nonchalantly as he held her, Azula merely rolled her eyes.

Both looked up to see Pipsquek, now unconscious on his feet, came crashing down on them. Sokka quickly put himself in between him and Azula, trying his best to keep her from being crushed. It worked, but it left them both under the unconscious brute.

“Well, that went well.” Sokka stated cheerly.

“I fucking hate you.” Was all Azula could reply as she felt Sokka pressed against her.

Neither said anything for a while, not really sure what to say. Then Sokka decided to speak.

“So. What now?” Azula’s only response was a loud and irritated sigh.

Avatar, TLA. A talk with friends.

(A little piece I wrote. This takes place in a world where there is no war, and sokka was never with the gang. there more to it but it’s hard to explain. Anyway, let me know what you think.)

Somewhere in the western earth kingdom, in a worn down pub four individuals sat at the long bar table facing the bar keep who was serving all four drinks. At the far left end of the table a large bulky man sat with an unamused look on his face as he continued to shift his weight on the dwarfed seat that creeked at his movement. Next to him was a tall woman with a tattoo on her forehead that looked like an eye sitting a little closer to the bulky man than neccisary. Beside her was another man, smaller than the first yet still bigger than average, his hair tied in two ponytailes his jaw and face covered in a 5 o’clock shadow which he scratched absentmindedly. Beside him was another man this one about the same size as the one before him only built like a swimmer. A sword at his back, a jagged scar running down the side of his face, his head shaved at the sides and back while the top was left to grow into a braid that reached his back. His chin held a bit of facial hair. He took a sip of the drink the bar keep gave him and winced in disgust.

“Holy fuck that’s nasty!” He coughed as he spat the drink out.

“I don’t think it’s that bad… has a bit a sour taste sure, but aside from that.” Said the woman as she downed her own drink. She made a face as it passed her system, trying her best not to the same as her companion. “Ok, maybe it is nasty.”

The other two just looked at eachother then at their drinks, then back up at eachother. Deciding, pushed their drinks away from them and just sat. They all stayed quiet for a moment, the only sound being the exsesive coughing of their companion. After a moment when the coughing dieddown, the man with three ponytails turned to look at the one with the braid. “So where to now, oh fearless leader?”

The one with the braid looked over at his companion, a brow raised in confusion. “What do you mean, where to now?”

“Oh you know, honest question considering you just got us kicked out of Omashu.” The man began to remind his friend but was interuppted by the loud groan coming from said friend.

“Yakone, don’t start will’ya.” He whined rubbing his forehead in irritation.

“Don’t start what, Sokka, staing facts?” He questioned making hand motions and raising his brow in question. “You were the one who got us thrown in jail, you were the one who pissed off the female guard who broke my nose, MY nose, not yours, you were also the one who pissed the king off when you had the genious idea to steal his pet, only to have us running for our goddamn lives from that flappy eared spawn of hell! Then, if I remember correctly, you were the one that leveled half the city!!” Yakone ended heaving his eyes bulging in anger as he loomed over a leaning back sokka who had a look similiar to when a turtle tries to hide in it’s shell.

“Actually, that last part was those two.” Sokka stated mater-of-factly pointing behind Yokone to the tall woman and large man.

“BITCH, don’t drag us into this!” The large man squeeled, trying to avoid the heated glare he and the woman were receiving from the usually cool Yakone. The glare had such an effect that it made both indiviuals lean back, away from the heated water bender. This caused for the large man to put to much weight on his seat and break the damn thing, he cursed as he fell on his ass nearly dragging the woman down with him.

“Yeah, but Freya and Tunga only did it when YOU told them to!” Yakone reminded as he turned to glare at Sokka once more, completley ignoring the scene behind him.

“Hey, all I said was for them to block the the road behind us so the guards couldn’t follow us, not ‘BLOW THIS BITCH TO HELL!’, It’s not my fault they went a little over board like they did.” Sokka stated calmly.

“And besides, weren’t you the one who brought down an entire building with your water bending?” Freya had chimed in accusingly from behind Yakone, lifting a unamused Tunga to his feet and rubbing his back soothingly.

Yakone went stiff before quickly turning to face Freya in a mixture of embarrasment and anger. “That’s beside the point. I am trying to figure what we do now, where do we go from here, not trying to point fingers and make unnassary acusations… that’s not my style.”

There was a moment of dibileving silence as they just looked at eachother.

“You, my friend are the embodiedment of the word Bipolar, you know that?” Sokka stated as he looked at Yakone unamused. A similiar look were on Freya and Tunga as they looked at Yakone, Tunga shaking his head.

“FUCK YOU!” Yakone blurted planting himself back down in his seat his face red with anger and emmbarassment. “ I was trying to make a point.” He grumbled to himself glaring at whatever was infront of him.

They all shook their heads as Sokka returned his gaze forward, Freya went and grabbed a heavy barrel for Tunga to sit on, she gave him a little peck on the cheek trying to better the giants mood and succeeding if the small smile he gave her meant anything. She then sat down and turned to looke at Sokka, a question in her hazel eyes. “He does have a point though, Sokka, where do we go from here?” She asked as she motioned for the bar keep to get her a drink.

“Pft, hell if I know.” He said as he did the same as Freya and ordered another drink. “I don’t know if you’de noticed, but I’m more of a guy who likes to go with the flow….” He looked at the unconvinced look Freya gave him at his deffinate lie, if there was anyone who could pass as a control freak in this group, without a doubt it would be Sokka. Sokka sighed. “I’m thinking maybe the Fire nation.” At that everyone’s attention was on Sokka.

“Why there?” Tunga asked in a deep barritone voice.

“Never been there.” Was Sokka’s simple reply.

“It’s hot, it smells like burning leather all the time and is no fun… so basically imagine Freya only on a national level.” Yakone had said nodding his head in agreement with himself, oblivous to the glare from the firebender beside him.

“Heh, still… be nice, we’d get to see new places, meet new people…”

“Piss off the fire lord, get kicked out of his country, have a price over our heads-”

“I wasn’t looking for help, numb-nuts.” Sokka said as he glared at Tunga who simply shrugged, a smirk playing on his lips. “Anyway, I think it’ll be nice.”

“Yeah, who knows, we might even find you a nice girl, or even better yet find me one.” Yakone had chimed a smirk of sorts on his lips. Beside him Freya and Tunga noticed how Sokka’s demeanor changed slightly at Yakones word, his body stiffened and the smile he wore turned to a frown, his eyes held a deep saddness. “Yeah… maybe…” Sokka mumbled, catching Yakones attention. Realising what he had just said, Yakone sighed, knowing he’d just hit a tender, still healing spot in his friend. “Hey… I didn’t mean-” Yakone started but was quickly cut-off by by Sokka seemingly brushing it off.

“Nah, it’s… fine…” Sokka looked to the bar keep who had appeared from out of nowhere and handed him and Freya their drinks. “So, to the Fire nation we go.” He stated raising his cup in the air before looking forward again a disstant look in his eyes.

His friends could look at him and sigh, all of them knowing the pain their friend felt. Without hesitation, Sokka downed the drink he was given, but immediatly grimaced at the tast before spitting it ou like he had done before. “The fuck, seriously, AGAIN!” He began a new set of coughing sessions as his friends looked to the cups before them. “Yeah… no.” Freya stated as she through the contents of her cup behind her and placed the empty cup back down on the table. Beside Tunga snickered before falling silent as he felt the vibrations of the earth around them.

He could feel how heavy armored vehicles made their way to them and the feeling of soldiers marching along with them. Tunga smirked. “Hey.” He boomed gaining his friends attention. “They’re here.” Was all he said before the atmosphere turned serious.

“How many?” Was all Sokka asked as he looked at the bar keep looking washing a few cups.

“Just a couple hundred.” Tunga replied. Freya and Yakone looked at Sokka expectantly. Sokka shrugged. “Just? Huh, I’m insulted.” Sokka replied.

Yakone turned to the bar keep and asked. “Hey, you got insurence on this place?”

The old bar keep squinted his eyes in confusion. “What is ‘Insurence’?”

Yakone and Sokka gave eachother a look. “Well thats a no.” Sokka said as he cracked his neck.

Outside the pub, soldiers armed to the brim waited and trembled as they did so, hearng what had occured in Omashu. “At ease men!” A man on riding atop an Ostrich-horse boomed, wanting to assure his men. “There are only four of them and nine hundred of you, aswell as our war machines, they will be unwise to challenge the might of the Earth kingdom!” He turned to face the pub, his outer expression showed unwavering certainty that this was a set match, but inside he was trembling like a coward, he had been there when half the city of Omashu was leveled by these mere four something that huants him still. “Heathons!” He boomed calling them by what the people of the Earth kingdom had monicered them. “You are surrounded, be wise and surrender!”

There was no reply, only a challenging silence. The general snarled, he turned to a squad of soldiers and motioned them to advance. They reluctantly did so.

Inside the pub, the four friends were waiting pationtly. “Here they come.” Tunga said as all four rose from their seats. Yakone was moving his hands and munipulating all the liquids around him, biting at the bit for the fight to come. Freya creaned her neck and had smirk on her face as she could feel her inner fire build inside. Tunga rose to his full height of seven feet, his build making him look like a human tank, he squeeszed his hands into fists which gave an audible crack. Sokka rose to his feet a removed the cloak he’d been wearing to unveil a black metal and silver arm. He unsheathed his sword from his back, a black huanting yet beautiful blade. He smirked as he heard the soldiers about to burst throught the door. “Party time.” He stated.

Just then the soldiers burst in with a war cry, Yakone wasted no time, making a sharp turn around he swung his arm forward and from every corner of the pub, eveything liquid was hurling towards them. Yakone made a motion that solidified the liquids into sharp projectiles that peirced into every soldier, causing some to wail in pain while others dropped dead to the ground. Sokka was next to attack as he lifted a massive table off the ground before pimp-kicking it towards the other soldiers. The impact caused for the soldiers along with the table to go crashing through a wall and back outside. The general and his men saw this and could only look on in horror. Yakone and Sokka wasted no time in rushing the remaining soldiers. Yakone used his water bending to cut down anyone in his path, water whips slicing throught flesh and metal. Sokka used his sword as he easily cut down everyone, at one point he sliced right through on of the soldiers midesection, cutting him completley in half but before the fallen mans torso fell to the ground, Sokka gave another pump-kick launching the severed torso into a few soldiers. Dead bodies and pools of blood covered the ground as soldiers tried to fall back but were being quickly cutt-down. The general looked to one of the tank and ordered for it to fire. “But sir, our men!?”

“They’re already dead! FIRE!” He boomed. Reluctantly he did as he was told and fired the tank into the pub. Yakone and Sokka bareley got out of the way as the ball of burning iron flew past them and crashed into a distant wall. Sokka looked to Freya and Tunga. “That’s your cue, big man.” He told Tunga who smirked. “Stay behind me.” Tunga told Freya, she nodded and followed as he made his way outside. A few soldiers tried to meet him but were cut-down by Sokka and Yakone and a few were burned by Freya.

The general watched as the giant of a man came into view. Remembering well what the man was capable of, the general wen’t wide eyed and ordered the tanks to fire. They did so, but as they were about to make impact. Tunga swatted the balls of iron away like pesky flies. The soldiers looked on horror, aswell as the general. A few brave men tried to attack him, trying being the key word. They attempted to pairce his flesh with their weapons, but their blades and spears shattered when they made contact. Tunga again like with the cannon fire swatted soldiers away. He grabbed one in particular and using his strength crushed the mans skull with ease. He then set his eyes on the tanks and readied himself in a running poisition. The general ordered for them to fire. But before the tanks could, an explosion rocked one of the soldier units, causing them to be thrown in the air. The general looked at Freya as she leaned back breathing in deeply, and with a snarl on her face thrusted her head forward, her combustion bending causing for another unit to scatter in dead bodies. The general looked Tunga once more he began a full sprint charge for one the tanks. The tanks fired but their shots bounced off him without even slowing him down. Tunga colided with the first tank, denting it and drivig it back a few feet. Without thinking he grabbed the tank and lifted the vehicle over his head before tossing it to the other tank, resulting in it being caved in by the weight of the other. The general looked on in horror as his men were being cut-down by Sokka and Yakone, turned to ash by Freya and being crushed by Tunga. Without a moments hesitation he ordered what was left of his men to retreat. out of the nine hundred only about eighty made out, barely. As they ran, Freya continued her assault continuing to dwindle their numbers. She only stopped when they were out of sight.

Freya stood there as Tunga came up behind her, a lifless corpse in hand. Sokka and Yakone soon joined them, both drenched in blood. “Well… that went well.” Sokka stated.

The four friends stayed quiet for a moent or two before Yakone spoke up. “So… the Fire nation?”

Reminds me of style of some people used to know back home. Never thought I’d see gang versions of Sokka, Azula, Aang, Katara, and Zuko.

Saw some pictures on deviantart by an artist that showed the Gaang and Azula’s team as part of some asian punk gang, but your pictures are probably the closest I’ve seen to what they would look like in an actual gang.

On a roof.

(Felt bored, so decided to write something. It’s pretty messy so sorry about that. So here Sokka is a bad guy. PS. sorry for the shitty title.)

Ah republic city, a sespool of crime, hate and false advertisment. Funny how it’s considered the land of opportunity and equality though. Sokka sneered, disgusted with the glowing neon lights of the city below him. Every time, it seemed, when he showed up in this shit=hole of a city things that had already been bad before got worse. Crime rose, people’s frustrations escaladed, and in general as the city grew the streets got filthier. “So much for that whole, ‘Believe in the people’ bullshit the mayor was spewing I guess.” He mumbled to himself as he reached into his back pocket and retrieved a peice of jerky and biting down on it. ‘And to think it’s only gonna get worse until the city eventually disappears.’ He thought to himself. “Meh, won’t be so bad, atleast it gives me someething to entertain myself with for the next few hundred years… if it makes it that far that is.” Sokka raised a brow at the beeping iminating from his comlink on his wrist. Placing the peice of jerky inbetween his teeth, Sokka clicked a button on his commuicator which resolted in a hologram screen popping up, the image of a man in his late forties popped up along with it, Sokka groaned at the familiar face. “Wad du yu wan?” He asked through his still clenched teeth.

“Take that out of your mouth and speak proper english.” The man stated his face turning to one of mild digust. “This is a seirous matter.”

“I kno da-” Sokka stopped and removed the peice of dry meat from his mouth. “I know that, it’s not like this is the first time iv’e had to do this kind of shit for the syndicate.” Sokka shot back, which afterwards he bit down on the jerky once more.

“No, but this time it is different, now that it seems republic city has a group of vigilante’s running around we can’t have this mission fail.” The old man retorted.

“Pft, some vigilante in a kabooki mask won’t stop me or scare me for that matter, don’t worry if this Blue Spirit of your’se or any of his little rag-tag friends shows up I’ll deal with them, not a problem.” Sokka stated, his ego and confidence in his own skill dripping with every word.

“I don’t care what you may think, but these individuals have shown they extordanry abillities, they are different, they-” “Look, I don’t give a shit how gifted or skilled they are! They aren’t the first meta-humans i’ve ever had to kill and they won’t be the last, so when I tell you I’ll hadle them if they decide to show up, you can bet your’e old raggady ass that i’ll handle it!” Sokka exclaimed, anger ever present in this demeanor at the fact that he was being down played as a warrior. “Now, unless you have something useful to contribute for me, this conversation is over.” The old man sighed, trying to stifle his own anger at being spoken to in such a manner. “The target will be in a white limbo, you can’t miss it, but be aware it has been bullet proofed.” Sokka snorted. “Aren’t thay all. So is that it?” “Yes, that’s everything. Remember, Sato can’t reach the yearly ball.” “He won’t, Winter Wolf out.” And with that Sokka cut the connection, the hologram faded back into his communicator. Sokka turned once more to look out to the city munching on his jerky as he waited. He heard a notice from one of his tracors on his Com, he opened the hologram once more and saw how a blinking dot that was set close to his position notified him that his target was close. Closing the hologram, Sokka reached to his back and retrieved a metal gadget. Pressing a button, the gedget transformed into a sleak black boomerang, pressing another button a light began blinking before hetossed it into the sky. He watched it soar through a few buildings before it vanished. Going back to his com, he opened a small hologram on his guantlet, and watched as he was now in his boomerang’s point of view. He searched for a minute or two before spotting the large white hummer limbo. “Pssh, The signs of a spoild little brat.” Sokka stated as he zoomed in on the street the limbo was currently on. “One block, that’ll be enough time.” He stated as he closed down the hologram and made his way to ready everything he would be needing. It diddn’t take long for him to assemble the armor piercing sniper rifle, so when he was done he moved to get into possition. Reaching his free hand into the sky, Sokka grasped his boomerang as it had made it’s way back to him. He positioned the rifle at just the right angle, then put on his visor helmet that resembled a wolf’s head in shape, the tecgnology of his helmet gave him the abilty to zoom in and examine and exploit weaknesses among other things. So he sat there and waited. Then just as he saw the limbo turn the corner, he also noticed the sensation that he was no longer alone, and that he was being watched. Just as the limbo was in the right position and Sokka was about to pull the trigger, his hightened sensess picked up the sound of silent foot steps. Sokka just smirked.

When the figure was close enough, Sokka sprang into action, two blades in his hands as he swiped at the intruder. To his surpise though, his oppoent was quite fast and easily evaded his strikes and even countered with some of their own. The blows did nothing to him though due to his armor and thick skin, he contiued to try and swipe at his oppent until he the impact of their foot connecting with his chin as his oppenet did a backflip inorder to evade him. Sokka stumbled back, somewhat surprised more than anything. He looked to where his opponent had landed and raised a brow. This wasn’t who he was expecting, the way the body was porpotioned it was obvious she was a female, one with the build of an athlete. The costume she wore was a dark red and black with bits of purple here and there, she wore what resembled a combat vest above a black sleevless hoodie, her pants also resembled combat pants, black in color with steel toed boots going up to just below her knees where metal knee pads were. Her forearms were clad with black and gold bracers and her hands with fingerless brass knuckeled gloves. But what caught Sokka’s attention was the mask she wore, the mask that he knew belonged to the kemurikage.

“Well, your not exactly who I was expecting.” Sokka addmited, his voice sounding somewhat mecanical due to his helmet.

“Whats the matter, aren’t I good enough?” The woman asked in fained hurt. “ Who are you, and why are you after Sato?” She demanded an asnwer, her previous tone going to one of seriousness.

Sokka chuckled. “Sorry babe, not really known for giving away all my special little secrets to some-one I just met.” He mocked. “Besides, why do you of all people want to know.”

The woman didn’t answer, but instead (Atleast to him it felt like it) She glared daggers at him. “Your’e going to tell me what I want to know, one way or another.” She stated the threat ever present.

Sokka merely chuckled again. “Oh really, and how do you expect to do that, huh?” He mocked as he began moving closer. “I’ve heard all about the Blue Spirit, and his little friends, trust me it’s funny to think anybody really finds any of you frightening.”

“Do I look like the Blue Spirit to you?” She ground out, obviously angered. “I am nothing like him, I don’t mid making you suffer inorder to get what I want.”

“Oh believe me, I know how you work. Still don’t care, but I know.” Sokka shrugged. “Oh and to answer your first question, no you don’t look like him, but I tell you what you do look like.”

“And what, pray tell, is that?” She asked in a bored tone.

“His little, ‘Bitch’.” Sokka emphazized. The next thing he knew he was sent hurruling toward a brick wall, the collision left him staggered and slightly confused. ‘Just how fast is this chick?’ He thought to himself as he turned to glare at her. She stood in place one hand on her hip as the other was being examined by her. “Who’s the bitch now?” She mocked. Sokka smirked as he rose to his feet, ready to retort until he realised there was still a mission at hand. He ground his teeth. “Real funny, but now it’s time we get serious.” The amusment was completley absent from Sokka’s tone as he cracked his neck. “Do yourself a favor, and leave.”

The woman took up a fighting stance, and readied herself for whatever came. “Not gonna happen.”

“Fine, have it your way.” Sokka growled as he began taking off his leather jacket to reveal his black armor, but what realy caught ones attention was the metal black arm with a red lotus drawn into it. Without warning Sokka lunged at her, said metal arm cocked back to deliver a precice blow. Thankfully though the womans speed allowed her to evade him, and so instead of Sokka connecting a hit on her he connected with floor of the roof they were on, resulting in his fist crashing right through the floor and leaving a gaping hole a he retracted his fist. She swung her fists and legs at him, trying to inflict some kind of damage but like before it barely affected him in any way. Sokka grabbed a hold of her leg as she went for a high swinging kick. With ease, Sokka used his free arm to send a hit straight down onto her abdomen which brought her crashing with force. Sokka smirked when he heard the groans of pain and the cracking of ribs, before he tossed her by her leg across the roof. She landed hard, and bounced painfully until she came to a rolling stop. Before she could react she felt his boot on her head putting his weight down on her skull. “Give up yet?” Sokka mocked. He was surprised when he suddenly felt something hit the back of his legs and his back hit the ground hard. He watched as she leaped into the air extended her palms out towards him. Sokka went wide eyed as he saw the blue flames iminate from her hands, with a speed he diddn’t even realise he had moved out of the way. He couldn’t get close, her fire wouldn’t let him, that would be her game it seemed. His was different he wanted to get in close, use his skill in close range combat to get rid of her already, but she wouldn’t allow it. “This is getting anoying.” He told himself as a notification popped up telling him Sato was about to be out of his reach. Quickly he devised a plan and went into action. He leaped forward, knowing veywell he was at the disadvantage now. In a matter of seconds he was surrounded by fire, as he looked for a way out he was suddenly bombarded by attack from his opponent. He could do little to counter, so he decided to take the beating. Then he saw his openning, as the woman came in to strike him she had left herself wide open. He connected with the side of her face using his metal arm and ge watched as parts of her mask broke off from the impact dropping her to the ground momentarily. Wasting no time Sokka jumped through the fire and grabbed his rifle. The limbo was just about to be out of his reach but he locked in on the outline his helmet provided him. He took the shot, and smirked as he watched the bullet impact with the limbo, the outline of Sato bouncing forward as the back of his head was hit. ‘Now for the finishing touch.’ He thought to himself as he pressed a button on his guantlet, the limbo then suddenly exploded. His job was done. Sokka was taken out of his reverie by the sudden impact he felt on the side of his head. Sokka tried to shake off the feeling of his daze when he two hands at his throat trying to strangle him. “YOU FOOL! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT YOUV’E JUST DONE!” His aggressor exclaimed, a bit of the right side of her face and mouth visible to him now, he was met with enraged gold pools. Sokka chuckled. “Yeah, I know.” He confirmed. She was shocked but quickly turned to anger as she tightened her grip around his neck.“ Why!” She hissed. She soon let go of his neck and instead clutched at the metal arm that now held her throat in a vise, Sokka’s helmet opened to reveal his amused face, his demon like blue eyes drawing her attention. “Why not?” Was his simple reply before darting his face forward and having his lips crash with hers, she was taken by surprise and diden’t know how to react until Sokka pulled away and gave her wolfish grin before tossing her over him and over the edge of the building.

It took her a second to react, but when she did she shot a grapple line toward the roof where it insnared a flag pole. She shifted her weight so as to swing back up to the roof of the building. When there she found nothing but scorch marks and peices of her broken mask, but nothing else. ‘Where did he go?’ she asked herself franticaly looking around trying to find him. When she couldn’t find him she began sneering as she hated to have lost to some worthless mercinary, one who after he killed someone had the addasity to… Her eyes went wide with rage. “That fucker actually kissed me!” She ground through her teeth. She then heard a voice come through her com-link. “Azula, what the hell just happened?!” The voice of her older brother made her cringe. “I found and then lost the assasin sent to kill Sato, thats what happened.” She hissed. “You mean…” Azula closed her eyes and sighed, the feeling of failure was never one she could or would grow used to. “Sato’s dead.” She confirmed. There was a long silence before her brother spoke again. “Get back to the dogo, we have to see what youv’e learned about our new friend.” “On my way.” Azula said as she cutt the link. She looked around herself one more time before firing a grapple line to the next building and swing off into the distance.

A few buildings away on one of the roofs, Sokka watched with a smirk on his face as he listened to the brief conversation. “So, Azula, huh?” He chuckled. “You and me are defenitaly going to be seeing more of eachother, thats a promise.” He lifted a piece of jeky to his lips and smiled as he chewed happily. After a minute or two, Sokka turned to leave, leaping off the roof top and onto the streets below.

Nice work, my man! Well worth a read! Keep at it!

My queen.

(Sokkla oneshot, that revolves around the idea if Sokka were raised by sea dwelling water tribes.)

“There, all finished.” Proudly stated the servent girl. “You look stunning, your highness.”

Azula turned and swam to the nearest mirror to look for herself if she looked good or not. Azula froze, almost unable to recognise the woman in the mirrior looking back at her. She looked almost nothing like herself, the only thing that really resembled her was her facial features, the complection of her skin, the color of her hair and the color of her golden eyes. Yet everything else looked different. She wore a black long skirt with a long slit running up her thigh, the skirt had gold trim and a few blue designs. She wore a top that resembled what she once used to wear when she visited Ember island. The top had a see through sleeve like fabric that ran from her shoulders to her wrists which were adorned with silver and gold bracelets. Thats when Azula looked at something she deffinitly knew made her look different, the tribal designs on her forearms that resembled both flames and waves, similiar designs she knew she had on the top half of her back and shoulders. Azula looked at her face, and admitted even her face looked different, espesially when the hair of her ponytail would sway in different places due to being underwater. When Azula began examining every last detail about her look once more, the servent girl spoke once more. “His royal highness will be unable to control himself when he see’s you. I bet you he will be left gaping at your beauty.” Azula gave a small smile, and by instinct reached her hand to her neck where a gold choker sat, she grazed the small black sun shaped pendant that hanged from it’s link. This neckalace, in Azula’s opinion, is the most beautiful peace she wore, a gift specialy made for her. “Do you really think so?” Azula asked, for some reason she felt unsure.

“Well, allow me to be the first to confirm her quote.” Azula smiled widened slightly, but she did not dare turn to face him. “Your excused, Sorna.”

The servent girl bowed. “By your leave, king Sokka.” She said before swimming out of Azula’s chambers. Azula still didn’t turn to look at Sokka, not even as she felt him approach her from behind and wrap his arms around her midsection. “You look beautiful,” Azula closed her eyes as she felt him whisper the words to her and plant soft kisses on her neck. “But…” Azula opened her eyes and felt how Sokka began to turn her to face him. “Somethings missing.” He stated as he examined her fully. Azula raised a brow, as Sokka turned to one of her cabnits where a box sat. Sokka opened the box to reveal a golden crown. Azula blinked, surprised. She became even more so when Sokka returned to her with the crown in hand. He placed the crown upon her and stood back to look at her. “There, now you truly look like a queen.” Sokka stated with a smile.

Azula turned to look at herself once more in the mirror and her mouth fell open slightly. Now she truly looked different. “Why would you do this?” She asked turning to look at Sokka with questioning eyes. Sokka simply contiued to smile. “Why not?” He replied as he neared her. “You deserve it, and whats a queen without a crown?” Azula looked up at him as he was only inches away. “I’ll tell what she is.” Sokka pecked her nose. “Your brother.” Azula couldn’t help the chuckle at the joke, but she soon regained her composure and gently pulled Sokka down so her lips could connect with his. When they seperated, Sokka chuckled. “So, can I assume you liked the gift?” Azula smiled. “I loved it.” She gave him another quick kiss before stepping back to look at him and frown. Sokka raised a brow. “Is something wrong?”

“Your joking, right?” Azula looked up at him with a raised brow. “What kind of king wears… that?” Azula nearly spat, motioning to what Sokka was wearing.

“What’s wrong with what i’m wearing?” Sokka asked, feeling slightly selfconsious.

“You look like you literally just came off the street.” Azula replied.

Sokka thought about that for a moment before replying. “But… we’re underwater.”

“And yet you still manage to look as if you just came out of a cave in the Earth kingdom.” Azula replied. “If you think I’m going to allow you to go to my brothers wedding looking like that, you are sorely mistaken.”

“Ok, ok. I’ll go and change.” Sokka stated, throwing his arms up in the air before turning and exiting.

Azula rolled her eyes, sometimes she wonders how and why she fell for that idiot. Azula turned to her door when she heard it open abruptly. “OH, I almost forgot something.” Sokka stated as he rushed to her.

“And what would tha-” Azula was cut off when she felt Sokka’s lips crash into hers. For a moment she was surprised but soon regained composure and kissed Sokka back. She smiled into the kiss and felt a bit dissapointed when they sepparated. Sokka smiled. “By your leave, my queen, my sun, and my love.” Sokka whispered and planted one last quick kiss on her nose before leaving.

Azula stood there in place, a smile still on her. “Thats why.” Azula whispered, answering her own question from earlier.
