Chapter 9 – Ignore

He dropped onto his bed and stared at the dark red wall before him. He closed his eyes. It was exhausting, being so sad. Losing Azula wouldn’t have been so bad if it hadn’t happened so quickly and abruptly. He didn’t even entirely understand the whole thing. It had been good one moment, and then it was bad the very next. If only he could just understand why she felt the way she did. Then he might begin to heal. But she refused to be in the same room as him, let alone see him.

Sokka felt like he was beginning to drown and he was so tired that he wasn’t sure he’d be able to swim to the surface.
