I’ll Meet You At The Bottom (Part 6)
I’ll Meet You At The Bottom (Part 5)
Azula has a favorite word. Believe it or not, it’s not a four letter one.
I’ll Meet You At The Bottom (Part 3)
I am still bitter to say that my favorite joke didn’t come back to me. For that I’m actually pretty disappointed in this chapter, the first version that my computer ate was so much better.
I hope it’s still enjoyable for you guys anyways.
And here we are! Another March 26th, another of Gladiator’s anniversaries has come. What a Fourth Anniversary it has been, eh? Thanks to every last one of you for your support through these years, and through this week too as I posted the collection of fanarts seen above!
Under the cut, one of my long-winded ramblings, this time about the story that has changed my life beyond belief.

I couldn’t quite help myself, so sue me (?)
okay please don’t, I can’t afford a lawsuitThe universe demanded that I made the connection between ATLA and the Olympics, but it brought me to it in a very unexpected way. I’m already used to Google’s knack for sending weird news to my phone, but I discovered it can still impress me when it sent me this particular article.
… Naturally I was utterly confused over why my phone would expect that to interest me, but out of morbid curiosity, I guess, I clicked it and had a good laugh over the whole thing. Soon enough I was thinking “It’s not like they’re my hornball OTP, no way every single athlete would possibly need so many…”
And that’s when I did a double take. My OTP… in the Olympics?!
And of course my brain blew up. The result of that mental explosion will be the 7-parter story that I’ll be publishing for the next challenge of the Sokkla Saturdays, a story I couldn’t be more excited about even if I tried. I guess I should have held back the cover for Saturday too xD but I couldn’t help myself. So you get it a few days early so that you know what to expect and, hopefully, get as hyped as I am!
As you can see, this is my take on the Avatar: the Last Airbender’s version of the Olympics, organized by the White Lotus. Hence, the black circle is for the White Lotus, the others speak for themselves xD each competitor has a headband that distinguishes whether they’re benders (white headband) or non-benders (black headband), and at the center of the headband they have different colors as to identify which nation they hail from. There’s teams for each nation, even for the Air Nomads despite Aang is the only actual representative of their team (but as he’s the Avatar he gets to participate in more events than anyone else, so don’t feel too sorry for him xD). Zuko doesn’t get to join in because he’s a Head of State, same as Hakoda, Arnook and Kuei. And as can be understood, I hope, Kuei is very much hellbent on the success of the Earth Kingdom in this major event xD
Also, Mai doesn’t like the Fire Nation’s uniform, especially the headband, so she refuses to wear it, period xD Everyone’s a bit older here, though I’m to sure if it’s apparent, but they are supposed to be.
Well, I hope you all like the fanart and that you enjoy the story in a couple of days, once I post it! And if you’re interested in them, enjoy the Olympics too xD
(curse Tumblr’s crappy resolution, click the image to see it properly, I guess .___.)
Gladiator’s Third Anniversary
And alas, two days later and without Starbucks, here’s the art piece I’ve been slaving over during the last week. No less than twenty of our biggest characters of the story! :’DDDD
It was a lot of work and I obviously had a few mishaps here and there, but I reckon the work is done and I can just throw this out there. I do hope you’ll be forgiving of the mishaps….
I hadn’t really known what I’d make for the Anniversary, so when I realized I hadn’t made a group picture like this I thought “What the hell” and went for it. My hand hates me for it now, but I’d like to think it was worth it… :’D
If you’re wondering who’s who, the pics have captions to explain. Though I hope it won’t be so hard to identify the characters, if you’re a Gladiator reader
xD
I am really grateful for these three years working with these awesome folks up here, and I’m looking forward to many more!
The Yakuza; Part One
Looking back I’m not a fan of how I posted this before, so I’m going to do it like this. This is the first part of the fic, with the second one coming as soon as I can manage. Rated for T for Violence, Sexual Situations and Language.
Long ago the four major crime families of the Yakuza crime syndicate lived in a fragile peace. It was a peace forced out of years of bloody conflict, that left men and women on all sides dead. A peace that was out of survival more than chivalry.
However this peace was shattered by a disease that was simply called “The Flame”. It killed almost all that it affected, with only childbearing-aged women being susceptible to its ravages. They would be healthy in the morning, engulfed in a high fever by the afternoon, and dead before dark. Thousands of women were killed before a cure was found, leaving behind countless widowers and motherless children.
Two of these such families, were the most powerful of crime families.

ahhhhh finallyyyyyyyy after ages ; u; I’ve finally finished drawing the longest illustration I have made this year *insert victory tune here* my back hurts ;__;
