No Big Deal – Sokkla – NSFW

madamebomb:

Summary: Azula and Sokka’s constant fighting finally comes to a head, but what happens when they both realize they’ve caught feelings? A lot of misunderstanding, a fight to the death, and mind-blowing sex, that’s what.

Notes: The majority of Part I was written for a “5 Minute Fic” challenge on my Tumblr, which ended up having 7 parts. I’ve rewritten the beginning and done some editing to make it one long story here, which is now part one of a two-part story.

I’ll be writing Part II the same way, and posting it here first in installments all week.

Thank you to everyone who reblogged, liked, encouraged, and keysmashed part one, especially @fanwright, who gave me some key, late-night feedback in a…uh…crucial moment, storywise. 😉 You guys are awesome!

Azula Week 2018 #6

Okay I really like this one, it’s just so fun to write a happy Azula that’s full of love and surround by love. Please leave a like and reblog if you enjoyed it!

“Zira stop that!” Azula shouted and her eldest daughter instantly put away the flame in her hand.

“Mama, he just water whipped me.” Zira whined as Soju snickered from behind a corner.

“Soju, get here now.” Azula said sternly and the young boy slowly walked from around the corner to face his mother. “What have I told you about water bending in the house.” She scolds and he pouts.

“Not to.” He mumbles and Azula nodded.

“Now please apologize to your sister.” She instructed him and his head hung low as she shuffled over to Zira, saying his apology.

“Now please, both of you go get ready. Your father is bringing your aunt Katara and uncle Aang is coming over for dinner tonight.” Azula told them and watched as both siblings rushed to their rooms. She sighed as she rubbed her stomach, she was nearly 8 months pregnant and was beyond ready to have this baby.

“Your siblings are something else.” She mumbles and to her surprise she got a kick in response. “I’m glad you agree.” She chuckles before heading back into the kitchen to get things ready.

It was two hours later when Sokka arrived, quickly rushing to to kiss his wife as he entered the house. Katara and Aang followed suit, with Bumi, Kya and baby Tenzin. Zira and Soju took off with their cousins as soon as the older kids entered the home, leaving the adults to catch up. Though it’s been years, the group could still get awkward around each other. While Katara and Azula tolerated each other, they never engage in anything more than small talk.

This time it was Aang and Azula’s turn to cook while Sokka and Katara prepared the table and everything else. They always alternated who did what, avoiding Katara and Azula working together at all costs. And surprisingly, Aang and Azula got along quite well, ignoring the fact that she killed him when they were kids. They managed to have the food done in record time, as they always did when they worked together and the two families came together eat and discuss the latest happenings in their lives. They often allowed the children to go play while the continued to catch up with each other.

The conversations were fairly normal, Aang talking about republic city and helping people. Sokka went on about his latest painting and his work on the counsel. Katara informed them about her healing school and how she planned to start teaching Kya how to heal soon. And that left Azula who was asked about how her pregnancy was going and how well Zira and Soju’s bending was getting better, a gleam of pride on her face.

“Aang, I actually wanted to ask if you could give Soju some lessons. I read over the scrolls with him but he can only do so much without someone there to show him.” Azula asked and Aang grinned.

“Of course Azula, no problem. I can stop by tomorrow if you’d like.” Aang tells and she nods.

“That’s fine, he’s going to be so excited.” She told him. No one noticed Katara’s disappointed look as they discussed Soju’s waterbending.

After dinner, Sokka and Azula went about putting the food away while Aang and Katara went about cleaning off the table and listening out for the kids. Things seemed to be going perfectly fine as both couples moved to the living room area. That is until Zira came running from outside in tears. She practically hopped into Sokka’s lap as she began hiccuping, trying to wipe her tears as new one formed.

“Zi, what’s wrong? What happened?” Azula had jumped into full mama bear mode. She often worried about being a good mother for her children so she tended to be overprotective. She nearly stood up but her stomach prevented her from doing so. The girl looked up at her mother and shook her head.

“They won’t let me play!” Zira cried and the parents frowned, a glare on Azula’s face.

“Why not?” It came out more forceful than she intended but she wanted to get to this bottom of what was going on.

“Th-they said my-my bending was too dangerous.” She told her, crawling over to her mother. Zira was upset but she knew if her mom went outside, everyone would be more trouble than they could ever imagine.

“I’ll go out there.” Sokka stood up from his seat knowingly. He knew that if Azula went out there, nothing good would result from it. Azula stayed in her seat, running her fingers through Zira’s dark brown hair.

“We’ll make sure we talk to them when we get home.” Aang says to Azula, who nods understandingly. She knew Aang was more found of firebend than he led people to believe. Azula looked back at her daughter who still looked very upset about what her brother and cousins did.

“All bending can be dangerous. You just have to keep control and everything will be alright. In no time, you’ll be just as good as I was at your age.” Azula tells her daughter.

“Will I ever have blue fire like you?” The young firebender asked and Azula smiled.

“I don’t know. I was the first to have blue fire. It took a lot of practice and work.” Azula told her.

“I can do it.” Zira says confidently as she sits up from her mother’s lap. She jumps off and runs back towards the door, almost knocking over Sokka as he entered the house. She hugged her father’s leg as she told him, “I’m going to bend just as good as Mama!” The girl smiles before going back outside. Sokka looked up with shock, surprised at how quickly the girl recovered. He walked over to Azula, kissing her on the temple.

“I don’t know how you do it.” Sokka smiles at her.

Within another hour, Aang and Katara decide that it was time to go, gathering Bumi and Kya, who knew they were in trouble and transferring Tenzin from Azula’s arms to Aang’s. Katara said goodbye to her niece and Nephew, hugging her brother before requesting to speak to Azula privately. Surprised, Azula agreed and the women made their way into the kitchen while Sokka took the children upstairs to prepare for bed.

“What’s wrong?” Azula asked, her voice neutral as it ways was when talking to the waterbender.

“I just wanted to say that you are an amazing mother. I thought you deserved to hear it after all these years.” Katara told her, smiling softly at her.

Azula’s eyes widen in shock as she takes in her sister in law’s words. She would have never expected that Katara would be the one to compliment her parenting skills. If anything, she expected her to criticize them, to call her out for being an awful mother. But she couldn’t fight the tears that filled her eyes at the statement. It had to be the pregnancy that was making her like this because somehow she ended up hugging her.

“Thank you.” She said simply too surprised to say anything else. The hug lasted longer than expected and when they broke apart it was as if they had a new understanding of each other, a new common ground.

It filled Azula with joy to have his experience. To have the awkward relationship and the kids playing together. The family dinners and the encouraging words. This type of family was way better than the jealous siblings and the parents taking sides, the two children being pitted against each other. It was the type of family she never knew she wanted and never wanted to lose.

Azula Week Day 7: Burning Passion

gd2go2:

“So, Sokka’s your name, right? My favorite prisoner used to mention you all the time” Princess Azula of the Fire Nation said in a slightly bored tone. The Water Tribe warrior stops in his tracks and turns around, his previous dismissive behavior now replaced with concern. “She was convinced that you were going to come rescue her. Of course, you never came, and she gave up on you.”

Sokka looks away with tears flowing from his eyes. Azula thought he was going to break down crying, but he soon looks at her in rage and charges towards her. It was all going according to her plan…

Azula breaths out deeply as she slips a knife from her sleeve. She kinda felt bad for doing this to the Water Tribe warrior. She does consider him the most dangerous member of the enemy for his tactical and strategic insight, but this is war and it’s really nothing personal.

Before Azula could move to counter Sokka, a stone shoots past him and pins Azula to the rock wall, forcing the knife from her hand. After grunting in pain, she looks up in time to see Sokka grab her shoulder and push her up against the wall in a rather intimate position.

“Where. Is. Suki?!” he growls at her with fire burning in his eyes, a fire that was brighter than any firebender could create in Azula’s opinion.

Azula stares back at him, a burning passion forming in her chest. She does everything she can to ignore it, but she feels it fight back as she stares into Sokka’s fiery blue eyes, where it threatens to take over her better judgement.

“Where’s Suki?!” he shouts into her face. “Answer me!”

“Sokka, she won’t talk” the Avatar tells his friend with a hand on his shoulder.

Oh, stay out of this Avatar, Azula thought to herself as she continues to stare back into Sokka’s eyes. This is between me and Sokka.

Sokka glances at his friend before looking back at Azula with the fire in his eyes burning with a brightness that rivals Azula’s own blue fire. The smirk on her face grows even wider than before, with her not understanding why but finding she didn’t care.

“Where are you keeping her?!” he shouts, slightly spraying Azula with small bits of saliva.

Under normal circumstances, Azula would be affronted that someone sprayed her with their own bodily fluid but for whatever reason, she found it extremely appealing that Sokka was doing it.

“Why should I tell you?” she retorted with arrogance.

Sokka flares his nostrils. “You better! Or I’ll make the last moments of your life miserable!”

Azula laughs in response. “Like you could” she said in a sultry voice.

Sokka forces her head against the wall with a forceful hand under her chin and moves dangerously close to her face. “I can and I will!” he growls with his teeth bared.

Out of all the few boys that Azula has been interested in, this one wasn’t one bit intimidated by her, unlike that fool Chan and others her age. Azula couldn’t help but admire how forceful Sokka is being, how dominating. The burning sensation in Azula’s chest only grows in intensity, threating to destroy what little of the better judgement she had left.

“We’ll see about that” she said, deciding on a move that will surprise everyone, including her.

Taking advantage of how close he is, Azula lifts her legs and warps them around his back, pulling him in to force his lips onto hers. Sokka gasps in shock, prompting Azula to force her tongue into his mouth, teasing his with daring touches and caresses.

Sokka thought about fighting her off but the electrifying sensation of kissing her destroyed his better judgement and he soon began matching her moves, trying to dominate her. His fury towards her quickly turns into passion and he forgot where he is, completely lost in the Princess.

Both of them completely forgot where they were, who they were with, what they were doing and even what they are. It felt that they weren’t a princess and a peasant, or Water Tribe and Fire Nation, bender and nonbender; it was just them, Sokka and Azula. To the both of them it felt as if the world, a world where it unkind and unfair to them, just vanished and they had no one but each other. And if that’s all they had, everything would turn out great.

They pulled away from each other only to catch their breaths. They rested their foreheads against each other, completely shocked that the one person they thought they would kill would be the one which makes them truly feel alive.

Sokka pulls out his club and uses it to carefully break the restraint that held Azula in place, both to her surprise and disappointment. He carefully lowers her to the ground and looks into her golden eyes while she matches his stare into his azure ones. They both knew they had to say something, but nothing was coming to their minds…

“Okay, this is really, really weird” Aang said, drawing the two enemy-lovers out of their gaze.

“Not to ruin your fun Snozzels, but aren’t we supposed to be kicking her butt?” Toph said casually.

“Uhh…” Sokka said, having no more desire to fight Azula, not like this at least. But he also knew they had a mission to complete. He had no idea what to do, so…

A large explosion occurred drawing all of their attention. Azula sighs out in disappointment, wishing the war wasn’t a part of her life anymore. “Sounds like the firebending’s back on.”

Sokka looks at her in concern. “So does that mean… we’re enemies again?”

Azula puts on a thoughtful look, wondering how he would react to her choice.

“It’s supposed to…” she said. Sokka gains a disappointed look on his face while his friends ready themselves for her attack.

“But I’m not fighting you anymore. I-I wanna join your side” Azula said to the surprise of everyone, including herself.

“Really?” Sokka said excitingly, but also trying to find any hint of dishonesty in the Princess. By the look in her eyes and way she felt in his arms told him she was being truthful. But she did fool Toph when it came to lying so…

“Sokka she just wasted our time to find the Fire Lord” Aang pointed out.

“Yeah, and she almost killed Aang a few months ago!” Toph shouted out. “She tried to kill you Knucklehead before you two started sucking faces!”

Sokka grits his teeth in thought, knowing they are right. But still, if Azula is being truthful…

“We can use her help” Sokka said confidently, to surprise of everyone.

“What!?” Toph shouted.

“Are you sure?” Aang said uncertain.

“Surer than I’ve been about anything” Sokka said.

Aang sighs in defeat, knowing this isn’t the time or place to argue this. Besides, he needs a firebending teacher, and Azula is the best.

Shaking his head before speaking, “Alright, firebending or not, let’s find the Fire Lord” Aang said with determination. “I’m ready to face him.”

“No, we’re not” Sokka said. “Today wasn’t our day and we need to get everyone out of here.”

“But I have to face him!”

“You will” Sokka said reassuringly as he places a hand on his best friend’s shoulder. “I know you will.”

“I hate to ruin your musing,” Azula said sarcastically, “but we really need to go and get your other friends out of here.”

“Why should we trust you?” Toph growled.

Azula smirks proudly, knowing the earthbender can’t see her but her new lover can, and he looks at her with eagerness.

“I’ve got a plan” she said confidently.

Sokka and Azula: Worry

_______

Azula takes a deep breath. The princess wills herself to calm, finds the ebb and flow of her chi. It’s…more distant now. Almost a year has passed since her ‘stay’ at the asylum but the damage is done. The drugs never completely erased her bending but they have…tempered it. The Avatar, ever optimistic, promises she will heal with time and practice.

So she practices. Azula purses her lips, allows instinct to lead her limbs through the katas. She hates the disconnect, that staggered second between the movement of her limbs and the flow of her chi. There is a brief second of hesitation before flames dance to life in front of her.

She snarls, dragging her nails through her hair. It won’t work.

At her core, Azula is a perfectionist and this…inability to correct such a glaring flaw gnaws away at her psyche. She resets, bringing herself to center. The sun beats down on her. For the first time in her life she finds the rays oppressively hot, longs to throw herself into the sea.

She’s not sure how long she spends perfecting the routine. Her body aches. Strands of her hair are plastered to her sweat slick skin. It itches. It encapsulates just how far she’s allowed herself to fall. The princess balls her hands into fists, tries to push down her anger. She is in control. She is her own master. Not the voices; not her rage; Azula

“Hey,” she recognizes the voice now. The watertribe boy, Zuko’s friend. There’s a note of caution there but it’s softer now. Almost concerned. She opens her eyes to find him staring at her, one drink in either hand. He reaches out as if to touch her shoulder before remembering his hands are full. Sokka offers her a gentle smile, “You doin’ alright there, Sparky? Been at this whole…” he makes a vague gesture at the grooves her movements have made in the sand, “Training thing for a while now. Aang said not to overexert yourself.”

“I am aware of my own limits, peasant,” she hates that there’s a note of breathlessness coloring her voice. He hears it; he’s too observant for his own good. Concern flashes through his eyes.

“Guess you do. But still. It’s pretty hot out here. Maybe not for a firebender but,” he shrugs, extending his left hand towards her. She doesn’t recognize the drink. It’s obviously fruity, a variety of crushed ice, already in the process of melting. “Here. Cool off for second. Maybe…I dunno, try taking a day.”

“Taking a day?”

“Yeah. You know. Just…forget about all the bad stuff. Just for a day. And then when you’re all rejuvenated. Back to your…flamey-sparky self. You can try bending.”

“I am not in the habit of running from my problems.”

Sokka chuckles. He takes a step forward, fingers curling around her wrist. There’s a softness in the touch that strikes her as entirely alien. There’s no want behind it. No desire to coerce or dominate or take. She does not…understand the intent. He leads her hands to the drink, making a show of curling each of her fingers around the glass, “Just think it about, Sparky. And if you want some company,” he points down the beach, “We’re just over there.”

He does squeeze her shoulder before he walks away, whistling a little tune to himself. Azula stares after him, head cocked to the side. Her skin is still warm where he touched her, a striking contrast to the chill of the drink in her hand. She is confused but…it is not entirely unpleasant.

Azula takes a deep breath, willing herself to calm. She finds the path of her chi, following the ebb and the flow. It is still…distant. The princess sighs, running a hand through her hair. The peasant’s words hang on the air in front of her.

Take a day…

She sips her drink, balling her free hand into a fist, stalking down the beach after him.

“Look at me,” Azula gasped as Sokka rocked her against the wall. His eyes fluttered open, trapping in those blue irises. She’d thought his eyes were icy before, as cold as a frozen ocean, but there was fire there, blooming, wild fire that sparked and ignited something deep inside of her.

She knew that fire, that blue glow. It was the fire that raged inside of her and oh, it was in him too… How had she never suspected that? Her head went forward, resting her forehead against his so that his breath spilled in a warm rush against her open, panting lips. She stroked the back of his neck, feeling a deep possessiveness in her.

Sokka glanced down between them, where her red, gold-trimmed dress was scrunched up in a mass between them.

“The minute you walked out in this dress all I could think of was tearing it off of you,” Sokka mumbled as the push and pull between them became a deep, hard rock that locked their bodies together. Sweat puddled at the small of her back beneath the stupid dress she’d worn to that stuffy dinner her brother had thrown for his idiotic guests.

“I’m still wearing it, so I guess we don’t always get what we want,” she said, and surprised them both with a breathless laugh. Sokka’s easy smile simmered against her lips, those bluebell flame eyes scorching her. The look in his eyes…

Oh, he knew. He knew.

You do, Princess,” he said, his nose brushing hers, his voice that chest deep rumble that made her skin feel like it was going to unzip and spill her heart on the floor.
